Here is an old fashioned recipe that will keep your children busy blowing bubbles all summer long. You can purchase the glycerin almost anywhere, but if for some reason you have difficulty locating soap flakes, you can order them here. There are multiple ways to use soap flakes, as you'll find on the site.
1 pint soap flakes (not detergent)
2 tablespoons glycerin
1 pint water
Heat the mixture in a pan, stir vigorously and strain. Cool and store in a covered jar.
